Good Life Thornlie

Meet Nancy from Good Life Thornlie. Nancy has been working with Ian, the owner of Good Life Thornlie for seven years and loves chatting with her customers.

Hear Ian’s story below:

Tell us a bit about yourself and how you came to be part of this business.

I have always had a strong interest in natural health and natural supplements, rather than relying solely on Western medicine. I’ve been involved in the natural health industry for over 31 years, and it has been incredibly rewarding to build my knowledge and experience over that time. Being part of a business where we can genuinely help people improve their health and wellbeing is something I’m very passionate about.

What do you love most about running or working in this store?

What I love most is the opportunity to help people. There is nothing more rewarding than having customers come back and share positive feedback about how a product or some guidance they received has made a difference to their health. We are also very fortunate to have an amazing Naturopath attached to the store, which is a massive benefit to our customers and allows us to provide an even greater level of support and knowledge.

What’s your favourite product in the store and why?

That’s a difficult question because there are so many great products, but if I had to choose one, it would be Qenda’s Ultimate Fibre. Gut health and the microbiome are so important to our overall wellbeing. I love this product because it supports regularity and digestive health and helps to keep this very important area of the body functioning well.

Can you share a memorable customer story or a moment?

One of the most memorable parts of this business is when customers return and tell us about the positive changes they have experienced in their health. Those moments are incredibly rewarding because they remind us why we do what we do. Knowing that our knowledge, advice and products have helped someone feel better and take greater control of their health is something that stays with you.

When someone visits your store for the first time, what experience do you hope they walk away with?

I hope they leave feeling that they have been listened to, supported and given genuine, knowledgeable advice. We want people to feel comfortable asking questions and confident that we genuinely care about helping them. Ideally, they walk away with a better understanding of their health and some practical information they can use in their everyday life.

If you could tell every customer one thing about your store, what would it be?

We have a wealth of knowledge and experience, and we genuinely care about helping our customers look after their health. The most important thing I would say is: prevention is better than cure. Look after yourself, take an interest in your health, and hopefully you can enjoy a healthier and happier life.
